Her View

Today I was going to go to the local Holiday parade.  Unfortunately, the parade was rained out due to the nasty weather we received over the past 32 hours.  I must admit though, I’m a bit envious of my friends and foes that reside in Tyler, Texas.  Yesterday, it was snowing there and as most of you know, it just doesn’t snow in Texas.  Just like, it doesn’t snow in Sarasota, Florida.

The last time it snowed in Sarasota was in the late 1980’s - unfortunately, the snow didn’t stick to the ground but at least it was flaky for a bit.  Although I hate the cold, skin-piercing weather of the winter, I still enjoy walking, playing, and watching the snow fall to the ground.

But, I will always be a warm climate kind-a-girl.  I enjoy the sun, the beach, the sunset, the humidity and all the entails the warmth of living in the tropical climate zone.

So now that the parade is canceled and we are basically stuck in-doors due to localized flooding, chilly weather, cloudiness, and just overall crummy weather - I must find something else to do to entertain myself.

We’ve already watched inkhart (which was an amazing movie) but I really don’t want to sit on the couch the rest of the day watching movies…

Hmmm… maybe I will go back to the desktop (since I’m on my laptop) and see if I can find something interesting to do on there…maybe game or something.  Maybe play a bit of MW2 single player to increase my rank or play some CS:S - who knows.

Ugh, the joys of being stuck inside
